📚 Our History
The School at St. George Place Elementary opened its doors in 2006 as a state-of-the-art campus serving families in the Galleria and surrounding communities. Established through a partnership between Houston ISD and the St. George Place Redevelopment Authority, the school was designed to support academic excellence in a diverse, inclusive environment.
Built with modern features and a student-centered layout, the campus includes collaborative learning pods, a media center, science labs, fine arts spaces, and outdoor recreational areas. Since its founding, the school has grown into a vibrant hub for Pre-K through 5th grade education, offering International Baccalaureate instruction, Gifted and Talented programs, and enrichment in the arts, languages, and STEM.
Today, The School at St. George Place proudly continues its legacy of academic achievement, global-mindedness, and community partnership.
