Our Story

Welcome to The School at St. George Place Elementary, where every child is encouraged to learn, grow, and discover their unique potential.

Since opening our doors in 2006, our school has proudly served families in the Galleria area and surrounding communities. Built through a partnership between Houston ISD and the St. George Place Redevelopment Authority, our campus was designed with one goal in mind—to provide students with a safe, innovative, and inspiring place to learn.

Our beautiful, modern campus features collaborative learning spaces, a media center, science labs, fine arts classrooms, and outdoor play areas where students can explore, create, and thrive. We are proud to serve students from Pre-K through 5th grade in a welcoming environment that celebrates diversity, encourages curiosity, and builds confidence.

At The School at St. George Place, students benefit from an International Baccalaureate (IB) education that promotes critical thinking, global awareness, and a lifelong love of learning. We also offer Gifted and Talented services, enriching experiences in STEM, fine arts, and world languages, and opportunities that help every child discover their strengths and passions.

Our dedicated teachers and staff work closely with families to ensure every student feels supported, challenged, and inspired each day. Together, we are building not only strong learners but also compassionate leaders and responsible global citizens.
